Taking objects representing traditional expectations of household roles of women, I transformed them into hybridized objects embodying power in their subversiveness. The sewing machine becomes an unstitching machine while a chair, connoting a lower position, becomes a vehicle that can move freely and fly to higher heights. By using the metaphor of a confining dollhouse, the entities, having gained sentience, break free from a confining system.
