A Question of Perfection
Installation

An installation amplifying functional perfection over the superficial notion of aesthetic perfection. Research derived from Rudrauf’s essay ‘Perfection’. Installation film details each perfect function of the insects. The planarians have the ability to regrow limbs, the stag beetle retains its balance due to its tripod-like leg structure withstanding electric signals, while the ants form an ant mill - an extreme state of perfection as they circle to their death.
